MOD Pizza

Hello, I wanted to share an experience I had recently at your drive-thru. When I picked up a pizza order and requested a cake dessert, I was told I couldn't pay at the drive-thru window. Instead, I had to drive around and go inside to pay at the cash register. I asked the server why this new policy was in place, and he explained that handling payments at the drive-thru had become a hassle for them. I mentioned that other restaurants in town still manage payments through their drive-thrus without issue, but a second server simply said, "that's just how it's going to be." I understand wanting to make things easier for your staff, but this change seems inconvenient for customers. I wanted to bring this to your attention in case there's room to reconsider or clarify the policy. Thank you for your time.

I don't come here often but when I do it feels like a little treat. The service is always amazing with extremely friendly staff which makes the ordering experience great. They definitely raised their pricing a little bit but oh well. The pizzas are always cooked well and taste good. Only complaint was that our garlic cheesy bread was lacking cheese to where we have a few slices that were just bread. Will be back.

Came in at 9:15 for a pizza and lemonade after my shift! Couldn’t get a lemonade because they were cleaning them 45 mins prior to close. They had no extra prepped. I think placing them in containers so people can still get refills and buy drinks would be best. The girl who was cleaning them also want the nicest, but the rest of the staff was great!!

When buying some gift cards for Christmas gifts, we received a bonus gift card that expired today. Mod just now refused to honor it saying it had “expired”. The staff could not be bothered to honor it. Apparently cards now expire before the actual expiration date. Just might be my last trip to Mod. The pizza and restaurant are usually enjoyable, but the lack of service is not worth it. There are too many other good pizza places in The Woodlands that we will enjoy more.

This place has one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in the area. I arrived at 8:00 pm and ordered two pizzas. We sat down, and when the food arrived, one of the pizzas was not what I ordered. That wasn’t even the worst part. What was truly disappointing is that they brought the pizzas in to-go boxes, as if they were expecting us to leave. I asked for plates so we could eat there, and they told me they DID NOT HAVE PLATES because they were about to close. It was 8:00 pm, so I asked what time they closed, and they said 9:30 pm. That clearly means they simply didn’t want us to stay. How is it possible that a restaurant with tables and chairs—and even worse, one that asks for a tip at checkout—doesn’t have plates to eat on? Then what is the tip for? Isn’t a tip supposed to be for the service provided? They want a tip but don’t want to provide the service. Or are they charging a tip just for handing you a pizza in a box that you already paid for? Truly a terrible experience. We will never return.
